HANN STATEMENT ON ICE SHOOTING:"THIS RHETORIC MUST STOP"

Eden Prairie, Minn. — U.S. Senate candidate David Hann released the following statement today after a woman was killed obstructing ICE agents and attempting to run over an ICE agent with her car: 

"Sadly, a woman lost her life today while taking the advice of DFL politicians like Peggy Flanagan and Angie Craig and obstructing law enforcement from performing their sworn duty," Hann said.

The Democrats' - including Peggy Flanagan's and Angie Craig's - incendiary rhetoric about ICE has emboldened people like this woman to the point where she thought it was acceptable to use her vehicle as a weapon against ICE agents, forcing them to defend themselves. This rhetoric must stop."
