HANN COMMENDS TRUMP'S COMMITMENT TO IRANIANS FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM FROM BRUTAL REGIME CALLS ON CRAIG & FLANAGAN TO REDIRECT THEIR PENCHANTS FOR BACKING PROTESTERS & SUPPORT TRUMP'S TARIFFS

Eden Prairie, Minn. — Over the past two weeks, violent protests have erupted in the Islamic Republic of Iran and over 2,000 people have been reportedly been killed. U.S. Senate candidate David Hann released the following statement today after President Trump announced that any country that continues doing business with Iran will be hit with a 25% tariff on all trade with the United States:

"I commend President Trump for his commitment to the Iranians who are fighting for freedom from the Islamic Republic's brutal regime," Hann said.



"Congresswoman Angie Craig and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan have weaponized outrage selectively, excusing violence abroad while inflaming it at home with their rhetoric against law enforcement.

Craig and Flanagan should join the President in opposing Iran's brutal regime and redirect their penchants for backing protesters towards the Iranians seeking liberty."
