Eden Prairie, Minn. — David Hann released the following statement this morning following the capture of Maduro:

"As a Vietnam veteran, my heart is with the Minnesota families who have buried loved ones lost to fentanyl. Today, justice moved closer.

I thank President Donald Trump, our brave U.S. military, and law enforcement for the precise, courageous mission that captured Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro—a narco-terrorist whose cartel helped poison our communities. Protecting Minnesotans from fentanyl isn’t a political issue—it’s a no-brainer.

I hope Peggy Flanagan and Angie Craig join me, on behalf of grieving families across our state, in simply saying thank you to the Americans who carried out this mission."
